I don’t understand why women have no problems applying makeup with sponges, brushes, cotton swabs, pens and pencils … but are utterly annoyed by products in pots. They don’t want to stick their fingers in - it’s germy. Get a tool for application; there are hundreds of them made specifically for helping women put product on their faces!

Went in for jury duty at 9am, was out by noon. It was only scheduled to be a 1-day trial, but still - nobody likes getting picked (ooo, but it was a “lewd and lascivious” charge - fun). So yay! That’s the good news. Oh, and I went to Wal-Mart.

The bad news is…I’ve lost my cell phone. HOW does that happen?!?

I am not looking forward to tomorrow. We only have one car and I’ve been selected for jury duty. So my schedule is:

Wake up at 4am - take Goon to work (home by 4:40am; back in bed)

Wake up at 7am, get ready, leave by 8:40am (jury duty at 9am in the same city where Goon works)

Drive back home once jury duty is over

Pick up Goon from work

Go home.


Maybe I’ll stop at Wal-Mart. That should cheer me up.

Sooo … we’ve finally and officially decided on a vacation spot: Jekyll Island, Georgia!! We’ve also tentatively chosen dates. So exciting! Neither of us has ever been there, so this will be an adventure. (If you’ve been there, I’d love to hear your opinion of the place!)

We’ve arranged for house- and pet-sitters, so everyone is taken care of. All that’s left to do is make reservations…and GO!

Just saw the VW Jetta TDI commercial.

Am I supposed to be impressed that it gets 42 mpg … or horrified because diesel costs more than gas??
